This session will focus on understanding and implementing targeted and effective marketing strategies.  While many operations are cutting back on their marketing ‘expense’ during slower times, those owner/operators making clear decisions to strive for increases recognize that now is the time to work smarter and more efficiently to garner a larger share of a shrinking pie.   A more challenging environment dictates that operators exert more of an effort to reach potential customers, not less.

This session  acts as a laser focus on the legal issues most important to protecting the integrity and value of your self-storage assets.  Many operators struggle to compete in a changing marketplace because their facility lien processes and leases are out of date. A critical step in protecting those assets is to insure managers are properly following the state-specific lien laws and to regularly review your lease for compliance.

The final session is a Q&A with the Self Storage 101 moderators and industry vendors and veterans.
